This walk-through takes one project from the first recording to a downloadable pack. Each step names the page to use and links to the module page for the details. Your role decides which steps you can do, so check the role guides first if you are not sure.
Who can do this: Owners and Admins create the project in step 2. Editors can do steps 3 to 7. Uploaders can do step 3.
Before you start
- A sign-in for the team. If you do not have one, ask an Owner or Admin to invite you.
- A team project to hold the recordings. Owners and Admins create it in step 2.
Sign in to the console
Open the sign-in page, enter Email and Password, acknowledge the privacy notice, and choose Sign in. If you forgot the password, see FAQ.
Create a project
Open Projects and choose New project. Choose the recording kind, name the project and choose Create. Each field is described in Create a project.
Upload recordings
On the project page, choose Upload data. Add the files or folders, check the Recording structure preview, fix anything under Issues to review, and choose Start upload. Details are in Upload recordings.
Watch the run
When the upload finishes, the project workflow starts. Open the project Workflow page and choose View all runs to follow the run. Each step shows its status. Details are in Runs.
Review the episodes
Open Episodes to see the episodes cut from the recordings. Filter the list, then open an episode to check it. Details are in Episodes.
Create a dataset version
Open Versions and choose Create version. Pick the episodes, the split, the labels and the preprocessing, then choose Create version. The version is frozen when it is created, so it does not change later. Details are in Dataset versions.
Export and download
Open the version and choose Export. Choose the format, check what the pack contains, and choose Start. When the export is ready, choose Download under Exports. Details are in Export and download.
What happens next
You now have a dataset version that does not change, and a pack you can download. To train a model from it, see Training.
