Researchers work on the algorithms and models of a team. A researcher can write team algorithms (beta), use the training images and create API keys. A team role does not give access to a project’s data; a project Owner or Admin adds you to the project with a project role.
What you can do
- Read and write team algorithms (beta) and model images. See Algorithms and Team algorithms.
- Create and view API keys. See API keys.
- Search dataset versions and recordings in the projects you can open. See Catalog.
- With a project role that allows it, read dataset versions and start training. See Training.
What you cannot do
- See a project’s data before someone adds you to the project.
- Manage team members, billing or the audit log.
Typical workflow
Read the key concepts
Read Key concepts to know how a dataset version becomes a model.
Search the data
Open Catalog to find dataset versions and recordings, and filter them.
| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| ① Search box | Type a recording name or a description. |
| ② Results list | The recordings that match, with their status. |
Start a training job
Open Training and choose Create training job. Choose the dataset version, the training image and the compute size. See Training.
Read the models
Open Models to see the evaluation of each model version, and the checkpoints you can import.
| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| ① Train a model | Start a new training job. |
| ② Model card | One model version, with its project and evaluation. |
| ③ Search | Find a model by name. |
Use team algorithms
Open Algorithms to read the built-in algorithms and the ones your team wrote. On the Custom tab, choose New algorithm to write one in Team algorithms (beta).
