Editors work on the data of a project. They upload recordings, start processing, review episodes and create dataset versions. Uploaders do the first part: they upload recordings and start processing, but they do not change the data.
What you can do
- Editors: everything in a project except managing members and the project itself, such as archiving or deleting it. Editors can change the name, description and secrets.
- Editors and Uploaders: upload recordings, and reprocess them. See Upload recordings.
- Editors: change the workflow, label episodes, create dataset versions and export them. See Workflows, Episodes, Dataset versions and Export and download.
What you cannot do
- Manage project members or the project’s privacy requirement, or archive and delete the project. Owners and Admins do this.
- Uploaders cannot change workflows, create dataset versions or export. They can upload and start processing only.
- Change a dataset version. Create a new version instead.
