The recording page shows one recording: its status, its processing results, quality checks, episodes and sensors. Open the player to play back its files.
Who can do this: project members can view a recording, except Labelers and Collectors, who only see the items assigned to them. Owner, Admin, Editor and Uploader can reprocess it.
Open a recording
In Recordings, choose the recording name.
Check the title and status
The title shows the recording name. The status chip shows the processing state, and once processing is ready, the check result.
Open the player
Choose Open in Studio to label the episodes of this recording. Studio needs browser video. To play back the files in the player, choose Open in player from the ⋯ menu at the top right. A robot MCAP recording opens with its camera views, charts and raw messages.
Check the cameras and sensors
The Sensors section shows one video for each camera, the IMU plots and the head path. When the recording has hand keypoints, turn on Hand keypoints to draw them on the left head camera. If the camera calibration is missing, the page says so.
| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| Camera | One video for each camera in the recording, labeled with the camera name. |
| Hand keypoints | Turns hand keypoints on or off over the left head camera. |
| IMU | Gyroscope (rad/s) and accelerometer (m/s²) plots. |
| Head path, top-down | A top-down view of the head pose, with the tracking segments and tracked frames. |
Review the episodes
Episodes proposed by AI show AI-proposed, not reviewed. Accept or reject each one, or select several and accept them together. Drag the start or end of an episode on the timeline. In the row menu, you can split an episode at the playhead or merge it with the next one. The keys A, R, S, J and K accept, reject, split, go to the next and go to the previous episode.
Check the quality
The Quality section lists the result of every check. A failed check shows its cause and the next step. Run checks again appears when the recording has a ready result and your role can run workflows. Create repair tasks appears only when a check needs attention and your role can create tasks.
Reprocess the recording
To run the project workflow again, select the recording in Recordings and choose Reprocess selection. Reprocessing starts a new run from the first step, and earlier results are kept. A recording that stalled or failed also offers Reprocess in its status notice.
Below the sections, Technical details lists the processing history, one line per result. The latest result is marked Latest, and a hidden result can be restored. It also lists the files of the result with their path, size and type.
The recording is stalled
A stalled recording has had no progress for over an hour. Choose Reprocess. If it still does not move, delete it and upload it again.
The recording failed
Open the run from the status notice to see the failed step and its reason. Fix the cause, then choose Reprocess.
There are no sensors
The sensors appear only after processing is ready and the recording has a ready result.
