Project settings hold the project itself. Each section is a tab on the left: General, Members, Annotation schema, Secrets and Trash. This page covers the general settings, the annotation schema and secrets. Members and trash have their own pages.
Who can do this: Owners, Admins and Editors change the name, description and secrets. Only a team Owner sets the recording privacy requirement. Owners and Admins archive or delete the project.
Open Settings
Open a project and choose Settings in the sidebar. The sections appear on the left.
Edit the name and description
Change the fields you need, then choose Save changes. The button stays off until something changes.
| Field | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| ① Project name | The name your team will recognize. | Tabletop Pick & Place |
| ② Description | What the recordings show. | Dual-arm TRON2 teleoperation, tabletop pick and place |
| ③ Robot type | Optional. The robot or rig that produced these recordings. | TRON2 |
| ④ Default task | Optional. What the robot does in these recordings. | pour beans |
Set the recording privacy requirement
Choose Privacy required or Privacy not required, then choose Save. Only a team Owner can change it. The setting applies to new uploads only; existing recordings keep their requirement.
Privacy required means recordings need consent and anonymization evidence before others can read or export them. Privacy not required is only for data with no people or personal content. It needs a written basis, which the console asks for.
Review the danger zone
At the bottom of General you find Archive project and Delete project. An archived project stays visible but read-only. A deleted project moves to the trash.
Annotation schema
The Annotation schema tab defines how annotators label episodes in this project. Open it, change the settings, then choose Save schema.
- Languages: English and Chinese, for the annotation labels.
- Fields: the annotated fields: Task, Outcome, Relevance, Subtasks and Subtask outcome.
- Require review: human edits stay labeled until a reviewer approves them. Only a project admin can change it.
- Allow overlapping episodes: a new range that overlaps an existing episode is skipped.
- Task list: the collection tasks and skills of the project.
- Subtask labels and Attributes: add them with Add subtask label and Add attribute.
Secrets
Secrets hold values that a workflow step can read, such as an access key, without writing it into the workflow. A project secret overrides a team secret with the same name. Values are write-only: after you save one, you can replace it but not read it back.
Add a secret
Choose Add secret, enter a name and a value, then choose Save.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| ① Name | Capital letters, digits and underscore. Start with a letter. |
| ② Value | The secret value. You cannot read it back after saving. |
