A collection order asks data suppliers for recordings. It lists the tasks to record, the quota for each task, and the rules that decide which deliveries are accepted. Suppliers upload against a task, and you accept or reject each recording in the order.
Who can do this: project Owner, Editor.
Before you start
- A project to hold the order. See Create a project.
- Team members to invite as data suppliers. See Team members.
Open Collection orders
In the project sidebar, choose Collection orders. The list shows each order with its status, accepted quantity and deadline.
Click Create collection order
Click Create collection order at the top right. The order form opens.
Choose a template (optional)
Template starts as Start from scratch. Pick a template to start with its tasks, scenes, quotas and acceptance rules: Tabletop manipulation, Household, Kitchen or Warehouse picking.
Fill in the order
| Field | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| ① Order number (required) | Generated for you. You can change it. | NW-2026-014 |
| ② Title (required) | The name your suppliers see. | Tabletop cube picks |
| ③ Description | What to record and why. | Pick the red cube and place it in the bin. |
| ④ Deadline | Optional. When the order is due. | Pick a date and time |
Click Create
Click Create at the bottom right. The order opens on its detail page as a draft.
Add tasks
Open the Tasks tab. Enter Task name, Start condition and End condition, then click Add task. Each task is one piece of work a supplier records, such as one pick and place.
Set quotas
Open the Quotas tab. Choose a Select a task, optionally a Scene, enter the Target hours, and click Add quota. Without a scene, the quota counts for any scene.
Invite collectors
Open the Collectors tab. Enter an Email to add one person, or paste a list into CSV emails for several, then click Invite. An existing team member is added as a data supplier. A new person gets a team invitation with the data supplier role, assigned to this order.
Open the order
Click Open order at the top right. The order status changes from draft to open.
Accept deliveries
Accept or reject a recording
Open the Review tab. It lists the sampled submissions that wait for a decision. To reject one, choose a Reject reason, then click Reject. To accept one, click Accept. To check the recording first, click Open recording.
Acceptance rules
On the Acceptance tab, set the Blocking checks (a comma-separated list), the Review sampling rate, and the First submissions per collector that are always reviewed. Turn on Ask for a re-record after reject to ask the supplier to record again after a rejection. Click Save acceptance rules. Opening the order locks these rules.
Progress and reports
The Progress tab shows accepted hours and submissions for each quota, the acceptance rate for each collector, and the most common rejection reasons. The Reports tab builds a CSV of accepted hours and submissions for a period.
I do not see Create collection order
Only project Owners and Editors can create or change collection orders. Other roles do not see Create collection order. If they open the order form anyway, it shows "You cannot create collection orders in this project."
